A very thorough analysis of the short period when the Stamp Act was being planned and passed by Parliament. Provides in-depth information of the political machinations behind the scenes. Also helps reader understand the opportunities and hazards with which Grenville struggled as he crafted this milestone Bill. Great end notes lead to a range of primary sources. Highly recommended for those interested in a closer look at the Stamp Act.
