David P. Gushee

We join with our partners at First Baptist Church Decatur for a program that celebrates the tradition of prayer in the Christian community, Yours Is the Day, Lord, Yours Is the Night: A Morning and Evening Prayer Book. The authors/editors are Georgians David Gushee and Jeanie Gushee. He is a scholar and teacher who serves as Distinguished University Professor of Christian Ethics and Director of the Center for Theology and Public Life at Mercer University. She is a published poet and former nurse who has spent many years collecting and editing prayers from a variety of Protestant, Catholic and Eastern Orthodox sources. (jasbro)… (més)
