I focused my reading on the sections describing "The Fairy-Feller's Master Stroke" and skimmed the rest. It's a pretty dry read considering how interesting Dadd was, but very cool to see his lesser known work and how his work progressed as he descended into madness.

Look up Neil Gaiman's talk about Dadd and this painting in particular (hosted by the BBC). When I was in London with Laura this past September, we went to the Tate Britain specifically to see "The Fairy-Feller's Master Stroke" in person.… (més)
