I have a wide range of tastes that range from graphic novels to poetry and from political critique to science. I'm typically reading about a dozen books at once, some of which I finish in hours and others I might take a year or more to finish. I pick them up, put them down, let life get in the way, then vanish into them again.

My ratings are unrelated to the concept of quality. I rate a book based on how much I connected with it on a personal level. This encompasses far too many variables for me to attempt to describe here.
