Why does my child love to hear the books I hate the most? I have read this inane book every night this week and I want it to disappear. Fairies should not have cell phones. The writing is unimaginative. booooo. ( )

April and Esme Tooth Fairies is a fun adventure about two tooth fairies first job on their own. April and Esme are children of Daniel and Fay, and with their blessing the children go out into the night and retrieve a tooth. This is a light hearted story, with some twists thrown throughout to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Also the story has small aspects of children growing into their responsibility, and parents having to recognize that change in their children. Overall this is a quick fun read, filled to the brim with imagination and charm. ( )

April Underhill, Tooth Fairy by Bob Graham is a cute book about sister April and Esme collecting their first tooth. Mum thinks the girls are too young and it is too dangerous of a mission. Despite mum's hesitation, the girls head out to collect Daniels tooth. Daniel is almost awakened but the girls are able to sing him back to sleep. The girls fly by his grandma sleeping in the next room and can't help put give grandma and kiss on the nose. Daniel is awakened the next more to find a shiny coin and he runs to tell grandma about his coin and his dream. But was it a dream? Bob Graham talks much about love, families, animals, and relationships. You just can't help but fall in love with his books! ( )

This book tells a story that would be very interesting for young students. It tells a story about two young tooth fairies. They want to go on their first mission, but their parents reject at first due to worries, but then they let them go, which they succeed in. The illustrations in the book are very engaging and entertaining to young students, because many of them can relate to it. This book will be a great source in a read aloud class a or even in a social study class to teach children the importance of independence. ( )

I enjoyed this book because it easily relates and connects to many children’s lives and experiences. The book uses creative illustrations to capture the reader’s attention. For example, some of the illustrations were organized like a graphic novel book to show the importance of the pictures and not to just supplement the text. Furthermore, the authors writing is well developed and follows a progressive plot structure. This is beneficial because the reader can easily follow along with the book and know what the author is trying to portray throughout the climax of the story. Lastly the author adds in various types of language to intrigue the readers and help to draw them into the book. For example, the reader puts a poem on the first page of the book to attract attention to the book in a unique way. The main idea of this book is the older an individual gets the more responsibility they acquire through the trust that was earned with their parents or caregivers. ( )
