Through various interactions with members of his family, Little Bill learns that he doesn't have the same talents or abilities that other have. He has his own abilities that make him separate and unique as an individual. His talent was telling funny stories - but his funny stories were kind of lame. His treasures are what makes him special. A great read for early-readers. ( )

Little Bill is bored in the house and everyone else has something special that they are doing. When little Bills great-grandmother, Alice the Great, comes over to visit little Bill soon finds out that he is a great storyteller. This was pretty good book and I think it caters well to Beginning readers. I would use it to teacher my students about finding their own talent. ( )

Cute, but I didn't find this series particularly good or memorable. ( )
