Family Abuse I expected a lot from this book and though it did surprise me at times, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. It is a little confusing at times especially in the beginning because she keeps refer to a character as "you" and so some things were confusing. The way the story is broken up into 4 parts, I thought we'd be seeing Judith before she was abducted, then during her captivity, then her return to her town, and finally present time after everything's been done but that's not how it was. The story was mainly told in the present with some flashbacks of the past so I didn't see the reason for it to be broken up in parts, each part was still in the present. I was hoping for more mystery as to who took Judith and what happened to her during her time in captivity but you find out early on who takes her and they don't spend much time talking about what happened to her there. The only thing that was still a mystery was why she was taken, it doesn't really explain that until the end. Overall I'd say this book was ok, not great but not horrible either.
