There are opportunities to broach the subject of fears or the absence of fears. many children and even adults can relate with a boy who is "afraid" of what he doesn't know. He didn't like dogs because he didn't know anything about them and had no experience with them. I would read this book in a Kindergartner classroom. I used this book for text connections. This book is a story that children can relate to as it talks about a boy who "isn't afraid of dogs." The illustrations can promote conversations among the group about feelings they have had or about what they think the child in the book is having. I would read this book to a kindergarten or first grade class. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
