This is a biographical book explaining the life of Daisy Bates. Daisy Bates grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and became one the top civil rights activist. She mentored the nine students that were integrated into the all white school, Central High school in Little Rock, Arkansas.The book tells about her trials and tribulations alongside of her goals she kept within.
This book also tells about the honors she was rewarded after her death. This book has profanity since most of the time period takes place in the 1950's.
