En el procés, l'autor fa gala d'un estil excepcional i d'un domini de l'adjectiu i la metà fora que m'ha deixat esmaperdut. Podria resumir el meus sentiments en dos de força contradictoris: " quin plaer llegir una cosa tan ben escrita" i "segur que jo mai podria escriure aixÃ". Ara bé, potser no feien falta tres-centes cinquanta pà gines d'exercici d'estil. Cap al final es nota que el propi autor ja es comença a agradar massa i el poc fil conductor que hi havia s'acaba d'esvair del tot. En resum, un llibre més que recomanable per a començar a llegir, però que podeu deixar sense remordiments a la que us en canseu; el què us queda és més del mateix que ja heu llegit. At times Sagarra appears to be too amused to exert any control, occasionally he seems to be sober and about to slow the pace.
