A wordless concept picture book meant to teach basic colors to very young children does its work excellently.

I would introduce this book to kindergarteners. It tells the students what to find throughout the book, while teaching them basic shapes and colors.

Unlike the other Hobans I've looked at today, this one 'tells' the child what to find in each photo. I don't like that - I prefer the ones like All About Where which invited the child to narrate according to her ability. ( )

A very good book for kindergartens who are beginning to learn shapes, sizes, and colors. Could also be used for a first and second grade class to go deeper into size and make a fun math lesson out of it. ( )

This wordless book has colored circles at the bottom of each page that correlate to real life pictures that also have the same color. While the photographs are not modern, children will enjoy finding the color that is in the circle in the photograph. The mood of this book is one of discovery and it teaches basic colors. Ages 2-5
