This flight manifest is really not very different (only much longer) than the first book Hailey conscripted with John Castle, Runway Zero-Eight, here amplified to grand Hotel proportions. Writing up a storm--that is a blizzard--at Lincoln International, this cross-sections some of the personnel's lives and loves throughout the emergency, ending with a crash due to one Guerrero carrying an explosive device for insurance benefits (you do remember that one).
