This is a book of compiled questions that Sally Alexander has been asked throughout her years of blindness. The most interesting aspect of this book was the fact that Sally was not always blind, she became blind later on in life. I remember us talking about how a blind person dreams, being that they had never seen anything, and I found it interesting that Sally had lost her sight so she had some recollection of what things looked like.

The big eye opener in this book for me was when Sally told a group of deaf students that she would rather be blind than deaf, because she enjoyed hearing the little pieces of the world around her and didn't need to see it all to know it was there.
I'm not exactly sure how students would react to this book, but in some sense I think they would enjoy it because it's questions that they probably have being answered. ( )

A wonderful book of frequently asked questions about blind people, and the very honest and detailed answers of the author. ( )
