Herlig morsom lille bog med en skæv lille personlighed som mister sit hår og gør sit bedste for at finde ud af, hvordan alting hænger sammen ( ) Told from the perspective of Herman, an independently spirited child suffering from hair loss. The story covers his and others reactions to this in an good-humoured way, but with undercurrents of bullying, family and financial strains, and loss. Whilst a good book, the author's A Half Brother takes the space to expand a similar-feeling story over a longer time period and in more emotional depth. Having read A Half Brother, this feels a little like a rehearsal, but is no less enjoyable for that. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Eleven-year-old Herman is not that different from other boys-except that he is going bald. Presented with this dilemma, Herman uses his fertile imagination and comical viewpoint on life to navigate through the rough seas commonly known as "growing up." In the process, he teaches everyone something about friendship, courage, acceptance, and love. Sometimes in the smallest of boys there beats the biggest of hearts.
