It is a lot of material. The presentation format worked for me. The age old accounting topic is also presented in the context of current systems, with discussion regarding a database. Not much depth, but enough to see how to relate my profession (IT) to the accounting world and have a productive discussion.

ERP is not necessarily better, but a faster way to achieve the same tasks. Discussion about ERP would be value to add to the future editions.

What would be really nice is to have a running example through out the whole book. An abstract company that needs to do something in every chapter of the book. That would greatly help to see how to assemble all of this knowledge presented.… (més)
