When her mean co-workers want to see a picture of Walt, Connie has no option but to continue with the charade, so she signs up on an online dating site searching for the perfect Walt Goldman. When Connie connects with Walt, her fantasy becomes a reality until the truth behind her charade is revealed leaving Connie to figure out how to get back her happily ever after.

Cards From Khloe's Flower Shop was such a fun novel to read! I enjoyed following Khloe, Gabby, and Connie's journeys as they each discover how to open up their hearts to serendipity and the unexpected chance at finding love. Just when you think each of the women's journeys to finding love will be all hearts and roses, the author throws a wrench in the mix with enough drama to keep you turning the pages. But the best part of this delightful book is how each of the women's stories are interwoven with Khloe's creation and delivery of wonderful bouquets of flowers and the special personal messages on the cards that speak volumes. While I enjoyed all three stories, I felt the most connection with Gabby and Harry's story, it is a heartwarming and downright feel good story that simply made me smile from ear to ear. From taking a risk, beginning again, and finding self-confidence, Khloe, Gabby, and Connie will each discover that by learning to open up their hearts, they could find hope, true love, and happiness.

Cards From Khloe's Flower Shop is a wonderful novel about finding love and happiness that will leave a smile on your face.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The Authors unique writing style captivated me while the well thought out story sucked me in so slowly, deeper and deeper, like quick sand. While the novel started off slow, it showed hopeful success for a positive outcome and did not disappoint. The story told of a successful young woman who thought she was in a loving relationship, only to find out she was with a sad excuse for a man. To start over, she moves to Florida to find herself and discovers that it’s not just the weather that’s hot and humid. Contemporary Romance novels are few and far between for me but this one was by far one of the best I’ve read. I recommend this emotional rollercoaster as I’m sure most can relate in some way, at some point in their lives. Copy gifted to me by the Publisher for an honest review.… (més)

Carrie's world is turned upside down when she comes home from work excited about intimately celebrating their sixth year anniversary, only to find that Roger has been unfaithful. Determined that she needs a change, Carrie decides to move to Palm Beach, Florida to restart her life. Carrie's journey will lead her on a new adventure of self-discovery, a fulfilling new interior designer position, and an unexpected second chance at love.

This was such a fun novel to read! I enjoyed following Carrie's journey as she restarts her life after a traumatic heartbreak. Carrie's journey is filled with real-life issues mixed with drama, humor, and romance.

Carrie is a strong independent woman whose passion for interior design guides her as she restarts her life thousands of miles away from her hometown. I couldn't help but admire Carrie's determination and independence, coupled with her passion for her dream career, she's a woman after my own heart! The author did a wonderful job of describing Carrie's passion for interior design with a richly detailed description of her design projects, it was like watching an episode of HGTV.

A chance meeting at a bar with a very drunk and sexy Brad Larson, unexpectedly turns into Carrie's first design project client, when she is hired as the interior designer for his home. A strictly business approach barely hides the undeniable attraction between Carrie and Brad. Their business/personal relationship is encouraged by Carrie's nosy matchmaker boss, England Bordeaux! It sure was fun watching Carrie and Brad dance around their attraction with witty banter until they couldn't resist mixing business with pleasure. Just when you think it will be all hearts and roses, the author throws a wrench in the mix with enough drama to keep you turning the pages.

The author adds a really nice subplot to the story involving Carrie's older sister Sara and brother-in-law Sean's struggle to have a child. I thought that this was a nice addition to the story as it showed a loving and supportive family relationship that Carrie had with her sister and brother-in-law. I think Carrie's journey interwoven with Sara's pregnancy issues tied in nicely and flowed smoothly throughout the story.

The Right Design is a wonderful debut novel that has enough romance, humor, and drama that every chick lit fan craves!
