Elena is anxious about making her school resume more impressive but unfortunately her attempts at sports so far have been abysmal failures. However, a freak trip down the stairs at school along with a impressive move to save herself lands her an invitation to try out for the school Rhysmyth dance team. Elena wants to prove herself but it is hard work to overcome not only her innate klutziness but to also go up against the undisputed Queen of Highwell High to make the team.
This is a cute, peppy manga that I thought was quite enjoyable. The characters (with the exception of Taylor) were all likeable with distinct personalities. It was a little odd reading the manga in a more traditional manner, as opposed to the opposite direction I've become used to, and the drawing is different in a way that grew on me over the course of the story.
Overall I think this is a nice, light, easy to read shoujo manga with a personable heroine and interesting story line that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to later elementary to middle school age girls.… (més)
