Reviewing books a broad spectrum of genres, anytime you review a children’s book, I need to turn to my inner-child and use her eyes to do the review.

Growing up, I sometimes found myself being like Pops and not having my classmates accept me for who I am. While I knew who I was after having discovered my true self, I can imagine what the journeys she went on while helping ShBeep deal with the ordeals he was facing; after all, ShBeep didn’t look at himself as being a sheep, which was why he got thrown out of the herd he was part of by the rest of the sheep.

There’s a subliminal message that gets communicated to the book’s young readers, which teaches them that being different from everyone makes them unique and that they should accept their uniqueness in making them memorable.

For wanting his young readers to accept their uniqueness, so they know that they are really special, my inner-child and I have given this book and its author 5 STARS… (més)

I adored this book! With the quirky girl and ShBeep the Sheep who doesn't believe he's a sheep. I liked that the way it was written, I laughed throughout the book, and I appreciated the way the author protrayed these 2 characters that were unafraid to be themselves. I liked how the characters were shown using their imaginations and thinking outside the box. This was a great children's book!

My granddaughter read it after me today, and she loved it as well. She said she, too, would give it 5 stars.
