David Bellamy (1) (1943–)

David Bellamy was brought up in Pembrokeshire, so the sea and coastline have always held a fascination for him. Although he works primarily in watercolour he also turns to oil and pastel painting at times, particularly when he feels a bolder statement is necessary. Highly regarded as a teacher of mostra'n més art, David has a tremendous following among leisure painters, many of whom have attended his extremely popular courses and workshops both in the UK and overseas.
