Ngarrindjeri wurruwarrin : a world that is, was, and… de Diane Bell

The Ngarrindjeri people of the lower lakes of the Murray River in South Australia are a unique people and a remarkable history. Bell covers that history, makes some intriguing claims (including that the Tendi, the Ngarrindjeri parliament/law court, may predate the Greek version of democracy), and takes umbrage at claims that the Ngarrindjeri world was but a memory.
