MY REVIEW:
Lucy is excited for her week-end visit with her father. As she leaves work there is a drastic change of plans.
Lucas Clarkson eagerly anticipates his daughter, Lucy's, regular visits. However, this visit takes a drastic turn., which compels him to recount to her his life and courtship of his wife, Isabelle. These are things he has never told anyone!
The characters are well developed and the events very easily visualized. The story is based on real events which makes it so sad it wasn't written differently. It was written as a narrative, which makes it difficult for the reader to become emotionally connected to it. Also there are parts when the narrative is written as to talking with a young child. Therefore, a book I would have earnestly endorsed as a Five Stars book, I can only offer four stars rating to.
The Title was a good fit. The Cover was done well and is oky, but to the "browser" it would fail to catch his/her attention.
