Honestly, what isn't to love about this? The collection reflects the power and importance of Room, a Canadian feminist literary journal. Featuring a plethora of authors, you truly get a sense of a) the journal's impact on Canadian literature, and b) the power and diversity of the authors published there.
There are some favourite authors of mine that pop up here -- Lorna Crozier, Amy Jones, Jen Sookfong Lee, to name a few. And there are many more who I've fallen in love with and whose writing I want to read further.
So, if you're a fan of any of the [many] authors included in here, if you've ever read and loved an issue of Room, if you enjoy feminist writing, and/or if you are interested in Canadian literature... definitely pick this one up.… (més)
