This book is very informative and can be ver helpful for children. I thought that the missing part of each page that was carved out with the outline of a shark bite was very clever. The author is very descriptive when they are describing the characteristics of the shark. Also, he uses a story line to tell more about the shark. The author uses smilies and multiple adjectives to describe the shark. The book went into great detail about the multiple types of sharks that can be found in the water. The words are very easy to read especially for children. They include many graphics and extra textual features in the book. I thought that it was nice that they explained to children on the last page that this book did not cover all the details of a shark. Instead, they encouraged the students to go to the zoo or aquariums in order to learn more about sharks.… (més)
