This interesting 259 page book on guilt was very unique and I got the message as I went along. I have read many self-help books on how to deal with shame and guilt, but the format for this treasure was so different, and snuck right in there when I wasn't looking. The author chose to use a study within a story to help me identify what guilt really is and how the cycle keeps perpetuating it's self.
I loved the twist at the end where the two childhood buddies were reminiscing about days gone by, because I could just see the interplay over and over again. I also enjoyed the way the author would take time out during the story to make brief and apt comments, not telling me what to do in a cerebral way, but leading me to understand. I would recommend this much needed and very well written harmonious helper to anyone ever plagued by guilt. Thanks, Caroline for this amazing and enlightened read.
