This book was amazing! I am on the edge of my freaking seat for the next one and I can’t believe it won’t be out till December 21st!!! I am obsessed with the characters in this series and how they are all developing and growing as the story goes along. I am completely invested in not only the relationships between Oli and her bonds but Sage, Sawyer, and Felix as well!!!
Surprisingly, good! It did have some editing issues but nothing that couldn't be figured out. I did feel the beginning needed a bit more explanation. It felt like It started in the middle and had to catch up. Nothing that diminished my enjoyment. There is lots of violence and possible triggers for abuse survivors. I loved Odie and Illi together. Illi really loves her and will kill for her.
Enjoyable like the first one. Editing needed but nothing that ruins the book. I'm not sure if there will be a Part III but one loose end was left. Lots of violence but things moved along really well.

At this point, I'm skimming through these books just trying to get to the end. This is the 5th in the series, and so far everything that has happened could have been put in one well-structured book. Each one of these reads like a stream-of-consciousness narrative. Each battle is basically the exact same thing and I find myself bored out of my mind, until the last couple sentences when the author drops some major cliffhanger.
I commend the author on their use of cliffhangers to keep people invested, but maybe they should invest a little more time in the rest of the book so it stands on its own.… (més)
