A brilliant book. It clearly records Don's lifelong passion for his work, his persistence and his sheer bloody-mindedness in getting his projects off the design board and into reality. A no nonsense book, filled with humour, guidance and love for his plants, animals and family (in no particular order), and his wish to encourage others wanting to create pockets of the Australian bush for native birds and animals. An inspiring read.
