At 10,000 words, this is a short read, but very worth it! Ava, and her boyfriend, Mason, are sucked into portals that take them to separate parallel worlds. Ava finds herself in a place like a fairytale with her doppelganger, Avalon. With the help of a hunter (named Hunter), they are able to find a Unicorn, suprisingly named George. Their grumpy new friend agrees to lead them to a witch in exchange for an apple Ava manages to take from a fairy garden. Upon meeting the witch, Ava is given a potion that will take her through a portal, but the decision to go home or find the love of her life, Mason, is up to her.

The very first installment of this series is certainly humorous and alluring! With grouchy unicorns and doppelgangers, what's not to love?… (més)
