Christopher Wormell

A really pretty book with beautiful illustrations. I loved the format of it, and the idea that it’s a museum to be discovered at home. My only issue with it was (hence I bought it down a star) the fact that it had a couple of typos and grammar issues. There was only about 2 or 3, but I hope that in further editions of this book they are fixed as it is quite important in a non fiction book. Overall though, very cool book! 4 stars :)

I was not expecting it to get so sad!

Consider this an annotated bibilography of some of Aesop's more popular fables. It gives the lessons, a beautiful lino-cut illustration, and a summary of the story. A great refresher for those who can't remember their Aesop fables.

I really enjoyed this odd little book about a little girl who inexplicably lives in a cave and encounters a bear. The girl is sort of like a cross between a feral child and something cuter and less real, like Peter Pan's Lost Boys. But the story isn't about that; it's about fear and misunderstandings.
