A Touch of Ruin de Scarlett St. Clair
I am always up for a good Persephone and Hades romance and I loved this but the only reason I have it for stars is because the sexual content was way too much. Don't get me wrong I love insatiable appetite when it comes to sex but it was just a bit overboard in this book. And sometimes Persephone's high and mighty judgmental side kind of irked me but despite that I did enjoy the book and can't wait to read what happens next.
I love the story line and I don't mind sexual content or romance but there is way and I mean way too much sexual content to the point it is unnecessary and just tasteless. I found myself skipping through parts and almost didn't finish the book but I hate not finishing a book especially one part of a series.
Okay this story had me so into the feels it’s crazy. I was laughing, swearing (lol lot of that), smiling, near tears and surprise.
Scarlett St. Clair has built such a wonderful world and characters giving mythology a modern spin and making the gods and goddess relatable. I’m addicted to this series and can’t wait to read the next book.

Wow, just wow!
I devoured this book in just two days, and that's only because I read it twice! It's one of those books that had me going back for more, wishing I could experience reading it for the first time all over again. What a love story!
Is it perfect? No.
Is the writing amazing? No.
Are there inconsistencies? Yes.
Was it predictable? Yep.
Was it everything I needed? Absolutely, yes!
This is everything that "Through The Veneer of Time" by Vera Bell aspired to be. Although it also reminded me a lot about The Witcher book series. Which made this book much more predictable.
Alas, I so completely enjoyed it, and can’t wait to read the next installment.… (més)
