“Peter Clines grew up in the Stephen King fallout zone of Maine and–inspired by comic books, Star Wars, and Saturday morning cartoons–started writing at the age of eight with his first epic novel, Lizard Men from the Center of the Earth,” per his website bio. The Southern CA author has published several pieces of short fiction and countless articles on the film and television industries. The Publishers Weekly review of The Fold notes: “Clines (the Ex-heroes series) adds to the comfort-read shelves with this fun, character-driven techno-thriller. Clines lays the groundwork nicely as the tale evolves from a scientific mystery into a thriller with elements of horror and adventure.”

A dedicated Whovian since childhood, and inspired by the television show, Peter Cline began his writing career at the tender age of 8, with his epic science fiction/fantasy/ thriller Lizard Men from the Center of the Earth. It appears he never lost his genre- bending writing style, and as an adult progressed to writing other genre mash-ups such as 14 and Robinson Crusoe (The Eerie Adventures of the Lycanthrope). Ex-Purgatory is the fourth installment of the Ex-heroes genre-bending, super hero/zombie mash-up.

Peter also signs in San Diego on Thursday 16 January 2014.

About the authors:
