Belva C. Collins

Belva C. Collins, Ed.D., is Professor and Chair of the Department of Special Education and Child Development at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to that, she was Professor and Chair of the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Counseling at the mostra'n més University of Kentucky where she prepared special education teachers in the area of moderate and severe disabilities and was responsible for the developing the special education distance education program.
