Most kids love animals and pets. I would use this fun poetry book to introduce a unit on pets or animals. It would also be fun to share as part of a poetry unit. Students could pick a favorite poem to read and share to the class or with a friend. Students could write and illustrate their own cat poems using their own experiences with cats. These would be fun to collect and bind into a classroom book for students to read and share throughout the year.

This is a fun and fabulous poem book that incorporates lessons in reading, writing and arithmetic in a fun way. It can be used to introduce a new lesson about words or poems. And some stories are just silly and fun to read.

This book should also have the word "rhythm" in the title. It is made up of twenty poems which include subjects like counting, what it's like to be in school, writing rules, and cheating. Every poem is more than likely relevant to the reader. Often times the poem is funny with goofy illustrations to match. This book would be great to have around during a poetry lesson, or to help a student with an issue they are facing in school.

This is book about cat poems. The illustrations are fun and engaging.
