Collection of actual letters by privileged male to entitled family members, belittling "indians" (expressing an equivalency to farm animals), native latin "greasers", and displaced workers who resort to wars of desperation which must be suppressed (by drafting those able to fight the others). While books arguably heavily edited eyewitness accounts may have historical interest, this is a truly dull book which an ironic title cannot save.
