Remarkably readable academic review of the great Regionalists of the early 20th Century. Exactly what I wanted to read after visiting the TH Benton home, purchased at the museum.
For an Iowan, this is indeed a treasure! Visiting the Figge Museum in Davenport, I was pleased to find this wonderful book of Grant Wood paintings and biographical information. The plates are very true to the originals.
Books about architectural sculpture are hard to find and this one is a must.
