Please see my Review of this duo's WHO'S THAT KNOCKING? for some general remarks about them. This LP is not nearly the spell-binder which that other one is, though, to paraphrase an adage, a poor hour with Hazel beats a good hour with almost anyone else. The problem with this album really is the choice lof material. The notable exception is their fine version of The Louvin Brothers' "Tiny broken heart", later performed with equal gusto before audiences coast-to-coast by Red Fescue & The Lawn Rollers.… (més)
