Interesting but not fully satisfying. Advertisements from the WWI era are accompanied by text explanation of the way the advertisements came about, things that were happening in reference to the war, and other minutiae. It seems sort of unfinished, incomplete, but the advertisements are interesting. It's fun to compare with the sort of slick, high tech advertisements of today and the wordier, more information packed advertisements of the time...and some of the over the top rhetoric that is so different from the over the top rhetoric used by advertisers today.
