I did not enjoy this biography very much. I liked that it was written similarly to a comic book, but I did not like the way the information and facts were presented about Booker T. Washington. Everything seemed all over the place, and the author did a poor job of explaining why Washington had critics against his views on segregation.

This was a great biography that told the story of Jackie Robinson and how he got to whom he is today. It shares the trials that he went through and it told how hard it was for him to achieve his dream.

This book's comic strip story line helps draw out her life through pictures in a time line. This book would interest middle school aged children and probably the girls more than the guys because she was a woman hero of her day.… (més)
