This brilliant reverse- harem book drew me in from the get go. Such an amazing spirit in this young lady who has literally had the worst of the worst thrown at her. Both parents taken from her at such a young age in a sudden car accident, she was thrown into Foster care system. Sadly she didn't get blessed with ANY decent Foster parents... Instead Arsyn was gifted with the worst of the worst.. Abusive, hateful people who left physical scars all over her body as well as a multitude of emotional scars she has yet to heal. She did gain a ray of such light in her life by her best girlfriend who started getting Syn out of her shell and helping her have actual F U N again.... Until that one night where they too were in a car crash. The crash that changed everything in Syns life as she lost her ray of light to death... And Syn herself barely survived. A branch went through the windshield and scarred her face and other parts of her body. Already feeling out of place thanks to her thick, long, silver hair that even hair dye would never cover.... Now that is to this accident one eye is all white and can only see black and white, while the other still sees in color. She now sees from time to time traces of color near people or out the corner of her eye. In her mind they we're just a few more scars to add to the increasing tally on her body. After grieving the loss of her best friend/sister Syn decides to take action... She refuses to let the past atrocities upon her shape her existence... So she finds a truly gifted tattoo artist and designed an addition in honor of Eisley (BFF) to add to her already elaborate tattoo that covered the multitude of scars on her arm from her past Foster parents and the crash... What came out of all that pain from her past it is a true work of art. She'd also added things to represent her parents... And with this visit a white, glowing candle to represent her dearest friend.

Out of the blue she gets word a relative has left her something. This is news to her as she didn't know any relatives. To learn she's been left property, funds and some other stuff in Pigeon Forge intrigues her.... Even if it IS a big old mistake.... And so Syns new life begins. Little does she know her entire world is about to shift. Considering all the pain she's endured, she tends to out up walls, and is slow to trust. THIS will take every ounce of patience within. We quickly get to meet the Kismett brothers... Ahhhh what an appropriate name that is. For unbeknownst to them ALL,....Syn and these guys are meant for each other. The Kismetts are Jinn and she is their Conduit... The person who helps bind their powers together. They are all one unit. This story takes the reader on an amazing journey. As with any great story there's good vs evil, romance, mystery, secrets, "magic".... SYN has to learn to stop throwing up emotional shields, and believing the worst before hearing anyone out first... Her past wounds may come back to hurt her by fault of not trusting those she KNOWS wouldn't intentionally cause her harm. It's truly beautiful watching as she grows through her friendship with these guys... She starts to see parts of her soul she'd all but forgotten about. Syn also starts to discover things about her family she never knew a out... And how there's this entire community she was purposefully kept from her entire life. I HIGHLY suggest this book. Syn is a resilient, strong, witty, ballsy chick who when she cares about someone will go to the ends of the earth for them. Join this ride and see where it takes her.... And heaven help the Jinn who crosses her or her guys. 😉. I can't wait for book 2 to be released!!!… (més)

Yowza!!

Syn and her guys end up fighting for all its worth to not only to survive, it to get back to each other. Hurt and perplexed at learning the guys kept her in the dark about being their Conduit, Syn fled .... unfortunately someone else was determined to keep her. When her beloved dog shows up bleeding, the guys knew something was WRONG!!! Though their folks think she just fled from fear, Syn's beloveds know something else is going on. Very quickly they discover just how dire things are. For their beloved Syn is in the hands of their enemy. Will she survive? Can they reach her in time? All kinds of things await you in the pages of this exciting book. We learn more about how the Jinn operate...and get a glimpse into their governing body. Oh yea...who is ruled by the guys friggin GRANDMOTHER.....surprise! A few other surprises pop up along the way. I for one can't wait to see what happens next. Lots of intrigue, politics, love, patience, and secrets revealed await you in this EXCITING book!… (més)

I can't believe this is the final book in this magical series!! Perfectly laid out finale in my opinion. Syn starts out the book still mentally recovering from the dark attack from previous books. Stressed out about their upcoming meld, where she and her beloveds will FINALLY become one. That's if she can make it there in one piece. The Council keep pushing her, and think she could be able to access her magic NOW before the meld. WTH....why would she be able to do what no Conduit before her had managed?! All eyes seem to be upon her which doesn't help her rising anxiety or bad dreams. Something is off. Syn knows it and so do some of her guys. Can they figure it out in time? As usual there plenty of action, adventure, deceit and secrets galore....and possibly a reveal or two along the way 😉. So sad this is the final book in the series, but one can hold out hope for a possible future spinoff down the line? The next generation.
