Short illustrated book detailing the artist and intent of the Los Angeles WWII Veteran Memorial. Good book about a City memorial I've never actually seen with my own eyes before. Unfortunately, the book links the memorial with ongoing advocacy for individual recognition for US governmental benefits. Becerra and Garcetti are the politicians listed as supporting this cause. I have not heard anymore about this from them so I guess Becerra and Garcetti have moved on to greener pay-to-play pastures.
