The Apple: A Play de Jack Gelber
A surreal play written during the time when surrealism and absurdism were the most common elements of theatre. The play takes place in the context of putting on a play, with a member of the audience interfering with the performance and becoming part of it. A decent entry, but nothing to write home about. It appears to be trying to make, or mock people who make, social statements about numerous things, but these go by so fast that it is difficult to get any idea why they were mentioned at all.
