This book is an informational book about the sun and the planets. It gives factual content about the sun and how it is the center of our solar system and that our planets orbit around it. It gives information stating that the sun is star and what planets are closer and further from the sun.
I think this is an awesome informational book about the solar system. It has a glossary at the back to give kids definitions for scientific words and has a lot of great vocabulary. I would use this as a supplementary tool when teaching students about the solar system. I would probably read it out loud at the beginning of the unit and refer back to it as we learned more about the sun and the planets.… (més)
