I’m gonna admit that I am not quite sure what to rate this due to the excess language at times. But otherwise it was great. One thing that I have comment on is the FMC’s love for her child. It was so heartwarming.

Bombshell is the first book in the Judgement series by Abbi Glines. It also happens to be the first book I've read by Abbi. This one is a sister's best friend MC romance with some pretty dark triggers so be warned. I admired the way Abbi expressed the emotions of the main characters, Dolly especially when they were dealing with issues that tested their mental health and the other characters who were there to be their support system.
Dolly is an innocent naive woman whose life changed completely when she was nine years old. The trauma that Dolly went through as a child she still deals with on a daily basis and she's made alot of progress to get where she is today. At twenty-one Dolly gets her first boyfriend and thinks she's in love. Unfortunately, she does not know the real situation she has gotten herself into until her best friend Pepper's brother Micah shows up at the bar she's at looking for her boyfriend. They are both VPs of rival MCs, and Canyon still owes the Judgement MC money for a shipment he stole and for unforgivable past deeds. Micah keeps close to Dolly to protect her because he knows she's in danger now. The more they're together the closer they get. Unfortunately, Micah doesn't understand how fragile Dolly actually is and is oblivious to how to handle it until it smacks him in the face. It takes tragedy for Micah to finally realize how he feels about Dolly but now it might be too late.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. I felt for Dolly and the struggles she deals with because of what happened to her as a child. It was hard not to feel bad for her and cheer her on when she started making progress on being the woman she was meant to be. Micah I thought was an ass through most of the book because of his attitude towards women. Before Dolly, he was the typical manwhore who swore he'd never fall. Overall I think this was a good start to a new series and I can't wait to see what book is next.

The saga continues, but with more twists and turns to keep your head reeling for weeks. This was a very anticipated book for me... I made sure I was uninterrupted, calm, and open-minded before I started this one... you really need to be as this story is not like many others in the way it's written, carried out, and concluded!! Of course there's still a ton of angst going on with everybody's past, present, and future, however Blaire seems to be coming to terms with what life had dealt her and she seems to be making more rational decisions in this second installment!

Now... bring on Rush... He's still as hot as ever, but things have changed. He's starts out more crabbier than ever, but with good cause. After about half the book I could see him altering, making nice with others and I have no doubt it was attributed to one person. I'm just sad it wasn't me..LOL! Seriously how could anyone be pleasant or cheerful when you've got the bitch from hell for a sister taking jabs at you and the one you love?? Blaire on the other hand held strong a little longer than I wanted her to. I was getting more pissed by the minute learning that others knew about her circumstances way before Rush did and she still chose to wait to tell him anything! That being said... I love Blaire with all my heart, and if I were going to be a fictional character, it would be Blaire... she's strong, smart, sexy, and all around a good girl! Glad to see the rest of the crew coming back full force... Love me some Bethy, Jace, and Woods... the story would be just soso without them. Now Nan, Georgianna, and Abe can go fly a kite, they did add tons of turmoil to the story, but I'd just assume beat all their butts than be around them!… (més)
