On the plus side:
A tremendously comprehensive set of manufacturers are represented in the book. Nearly every guitar & bass manufacturer is here. Nice B&W photos throughout. Hard to find another guide as good as this!

On the con side:
The amp, steel, banjo, mandolin, and effects sections are not nearly as comprehensive as the guitar and bass sections. Not a major drawback, but worth a mention.
Not all models of bass & guitar are represented with a price estimate. The major brands are better represented, and the more obscure brands are less represented - probably as expected.

All said and done, this is a wonderful references and represents a considerable amount of work to compile! A must have for a guitar or bass player!… (més)
