I've been waiting for this book for a while now and I hate that I didn't enjoy it all that much. It's written in two parts with the second part starting about a year after the first. Throughout most of the book, you wouldn't even have known it was an MC if it didn't say it.
River is the enforcer of the Royal Bastards MC: Santa Fe, NM chapter until he is voted in as president. The youngest to ever hold that position. When the club's warehouse is hit by the Outlaws MC he vows retaliation but wants to be patient about it. Using the other club president's daughter who was sent away into hiding to go to college. River found her and enrolled at the same school under an alias along with Tank to get close to her.
Savannah is living in Maine under a fake name since her father sent her there to hide. Linc, an Outlaws MC member, went rogue when he attacked the warehouse and now had his sights set on Savannah also because he wanted her father out. At a frat party River saves Savvy from being assaulted and has a connection neither realized they would have.
The first part of the book is about how River and Savannah meet, hate each other but in the end, fall for each other. The second part of the book is about what happened when they found out who each other was. River and Tank give off more high school vibes than biker vibes, it felt like I was reading a young adult romance, not a biker one. The prologue is told twice which made the second part confusing at first. The main characters couldn't pull me into the story. It was the best friends Tank and Brandi that were more interesting and had me wanting to read more about them. This can be read as a standalone though because it has nothing to do with the two previous books so you won't miss anything.
*I received this book for free. I voluntarily gave an honest review.*

"Duke" is the first book in a new MC series and got to say I really did enjoy this one.
It would have been a much higher star rating for this but there were a few instances here that really set my teeth on edge; which was a real shame as the writing style used here was so easy to get lost in and relate to.
So I will start with the good; this was well written, emotive and heartfelt.
I loved the main characters; both Duke and Shanna and was rooting for them all the way.
I adored that this was an age-gap romance; they are so my guilty pleasure; this was the ultimate cherry on the cake for me.
This was plenty smoking hot and the chemistry between Duke and Shanna was off the charts.
In fact, this was rolling along quite nicely and all was good with my world until; and here's my bad; things went to hell in a handbasket.
Everything was so good and hunky dory; then major car crash moment or several of them.
"Duke" then changed dramatically for me.
we are now introduced to a bit of a love triangle and nobody has the patience to just wait a damn second for things to get back on track.
I'm talking about both Shanna and Duke here; both needed their heads banging together.
This kinda spoiled event's slightly for me; I'm an all in sort of girl and not a big fan of my lovers getting their juice from elsewhere.
This didn't actually go all the way here; so I could still kinda deal, but it was enough that it pissed me the hell off and ultimately spoilt my enjoyment Of Duke.
Was not a happy bunny at this point; thankfully our pair of lovers do eventually pull themselves together and get back on track; so I forgave them after I'd finished cursing their arses of course.
Despite my above moaning, this was still an excellent read that was easy to get lost in and enjoy.
The author did a fantastic job of reeling in the reader and managed to keep my interest throughout.
Another Dual POV tale which is by far my personal preference and Duke also came equipped with a great cast of secondary individuals which also added to the overall experience.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "Duke" of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

ARC BOOK REVIEW

Holy moly this book blew me away I absolutely adored every bloody word written here.
The previous in the series "Duke" I enjoyed this I devoured; I can't express just how much I loved this book and if I could rate "Unscripted" any higher I so would.

So this is set after "Duke" and has Meat/Rog running the Sassy Wench in Springdale; When Devon; flirty and thirty; High school teacher breezes into town looking for answers and decides Roger's establishment is where she's gonna get these elusive questions acknowledged.
Desperate for knowledge and having the experience needed (Former Hooters girl) Devon Signs on to waitress for the summer at the Sassy Wench.
Meat/Roger is instantly enamoured by the sexy school teacher he's lovingly labelled jailbait but doesn't quite trust her reasons for being in his town.
Former soldier in arms of the disbanded Springdale chapter; he was the muscle back in his day and is still heavily involved in club life; once family always family.
Rog is determined to uncover all of Devon's secrets; while trying to still keep as far away from Dev as he can; as this is one woman that could easily break his status-quo.
So, do you know what my favourite factor in "Unscripted" was; the characters ages; yeh there are loads of romances out there that deal with young twenty-year-old girls and hot older men.
But this story featured an older age gap couple and I couldn't have loved it any more.
This was a major plus for me and so refreshing to see someone older portrayed in such a positive light; I know an older man can be extremely sexy; I have my own silver fox after all, but it's not very often we get one portrayed as the Male Hero in a romance novel so I was loving this unique aspect of "Unscripted".
I adored how Roger, Devon's sexy silver fox was portrayed here.
He was a gruff, rude, stubborn, set in his ways oldie; but also protective, loving and loyal with it.
A heart the size of Texas; A big buff grizzly bear; my only slight annoyance with him was his sheer stubbornness, but I ultimately let that slide on account of Rog's total manly hotness; I am a girl after all.
"unscripted" has been one of my most fave reads in a while it just got to me.
I liked everything about it; It was told in dual POV; my fave and had an abundance of interesting and intriguing characters; all well fleshed out so you felt like you really got to know the whole gang.
There was a fantastic side story and you were just waiting for everything to implode dramatically for poor Devon; I do feel in that instance Devon maybe got a bit of a raw deal, the parent's sins are so not the kids and all that jazz; thank god for the voice of reason Shanna.
And that's another reason there to pick this up; the lovely Duke and Shanna; Although not heavily featured here they do make a couple of appearances and it was so lovely to catch up with them and see how they were getting on.
All though with that, I will say this can be read as a standalone no issue at all.
"Unscripted" is set in the MC world but it's not heavily relied on here for story development.
Its just part of a bigger picture; that makes up this engaging tale; an extra piece of the puzzle that is "Unscripted".
This has twists and turns aplenty and is a fantastic second book to what was already a great series; can't wait to experience more in the world that is "Creed".
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "UnScripted" of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
