Summary:

The innovative Mark Zuckerburg is the face of one of the known social site called Facebook. He began Facebook as recreational fun, but it became popular by what it had to offer. This social media offered a place for people around the world to communicate through text, photo sharing, business endeavors, and planning different events The company is on the rise and seems to show signs that nothing will stop its enormous growth. This young billionaire CEO continuous to give back to those who are in need. We can expect him to never change.

Personal Reaction: I wasn’t aware of his beginnings of this major social media site. Mark Zuckerburg has motivated me to become greater than what I am aiming for no matter how young you are. His message was very clear. I am excited for the other countries that will evolve and adapt Facebook as not just a social media gathering, but to create multiple charities through the features.

Classroom Extensions:

1. Have the children to create something creative that the CEO would consider to bring to attention to his staff.

A story of the Columbine High school shooting.

For high school readers; it is very detailed and went into the personal lives of the shooters and step by step of everything that happened that day and accounted for what bystanders and witnesses remembered and felt. It is like reading an action movie because you feel like you know step by step what happened, starting off slowly and then building up, and going from one scene of people to another.

Great way to imagine being at school one day not knowing something like this was being planned. Students can discuss warning signs and why the two isolated friends may have felt like they hated everyone.… (més)
