Despite not having read the first two of the series, I requested a copy of this one.
It was better than I expected. The art was cute and overall had a light feeling that drew me in.
I know that some are probably in the same boat I was in with starting at a volume that was not the first. I was able to keep up quite well and did not feel that I missed much. I am not sure how much farther in the series I would go without reading the first two, but this one was alright.
The only complaint I have is the pacing. It was slow. Another manga series that I love (A Bride's Story) is also quite slow but there is so much character development happening despite little in terms of events. It would have been nice if this one had more development considering the pace.

Fly Me to the Moon is a sweet romantic manga about learning to love each other, growing and communication. I'm very intrigued where this story is going in the potential alien, moon goddess or other fantasy route. I'm kind of over the intrigue though, to be honest. I want something to happen other than just the cute relationship.

Fly Me to the Moon, Volume 1 is a sweet, little romance read with lots of intrigue coming along. Is our mystery woman an alien? Some sort of goddess? So far, there's no real hints that I can find to determine this. We'll just have to read to find out.
This book has a fair bit of slice of life for two random people marrying each other because of a silly promise. It's a goofy yet lovable premise that I really enjoyed. It was light hearted and fun, which is what I wanted out of this read. It's just so light and fluffy and cute! Romance lovers will adore it!
