I confess right up front, I didn't give this much of a chance. I think I read the first five pages before deciding it wasn't for me. Felt like the author was a bit too conscious of and deliberate in her presentation of her "shocking" behavior.

It's very possible if I'd persisted I'd have found things to enjoy.
