Without giving away any secrets ( even though i really really want too), I can tell you that you have never read an as well written, thought out, plotted out book as this one !! I'm not a Sci-Fi reader, I prefer paranormal romance as you can see by my usual reviews, but this book sucked me in and kept my imagination as well as my " could this really have happened meter pinging in the red zone " !! And that is a very hard thing to do. When The Kid/Tom, ultimately figures out what he believes really happened to him, his ex-wife, and current wife; it will blow your mind. If you are a child of the 70's & 80's as I am the references to books, movies and television will draw you even further down the rabbit hole ( see how I did that )!! If you are a lover of Star Trek, The Twilight Zone, and another great series of movies I can't name due to it being a huge spoiler, you will LOVE these combined books . It is a bit lengthy and will take more than one day to read it, but you will need that extra time to go "oh, now I've got it", just to find out that you've been maneuvered around, again.… (més)

Thomas L. Hay has not let me down! Every time I read his books, I'm transported back in time. His books are an escape from reality, but into a reality that still feels real. Because it is. In a way. But not enough to think it's all imagined either. Or is it? Abduction Revelation II is a readable ride into the unbelievably insane. You walk away in one of two states: Emotionally cracked, yet uplifted, with hilarity, or Emotionally confused, cracked with hilarity. I'm just saying...

The Comeback Kid is... BACK! Tom has returned (remember the switch-a-roo?), but things haven't improved for the better. He still can't seem to find his place in the world. He's lonely and in constant reflection, which brings back nothing but pain.

In Abduction Revelation II, he's moving on to what brought about his memoirs of his most difficult, happy and frustrating days. Whether dabbling in IR relationships, singing karaoke, or up to the strangest of business, with Monroe (his future grandson), Tom is still not settled. He needs a place, a love and some peace of mind.

It's not till he's reached retirement, lost his mother and moved back home to Missouri, that he finds the mind blocks melted away, allowing him to find himself. His true self and an explanation to why he is who he is. IT's a story that leaves nothing to the imagination, because you aren't sure Hay has imagined it all or if he really believes these things have happened to him. It doesn't matter though... does it?

This book is amazing, just like the first. From sections of the story beginning with song lyrics from way back, to the insanity of his experiences, you find a connection to Tom. Tom Tom...? You have to read it. to know. Anyway, the story is full. Filled with laughter, "Oooh's" and "Ahh's" and many, many "OMG's!" You have to read Abduction Revelation II to know, but if you've not read the first book, go back and get that one first!

You will not regret it. I'm on to the next read!

ab·duc·tor
ab'dəktər/ noun, plural noun: abductors
1. a person who abducts another person.

I've never technically read someone's memoirs before. Well, if I've read autobiographies, then I guess I can say Yes, but there's a slight difference. Isn't there? Well, Thomas J. Hay found me on another network for connecting. I love meeting new authors and reading their tales, but when you catch one that makes you question things- that's a good read. What I loved most about this memoir, An Abduction Revelation: The Comeback Kid Returns, I was able to laugh, sing and go "Oooooo!"
(original artwork borrowed from author website)

An Abduction Revelation is written as the memoirs of Thomas Hay. Written to the themes of various songs, Hay shares his life. His story is amazing, funny, preposterous and down-right hilarious at times. It's also very saddening in spots, making your heart ache at some of his experiences, but everything ties together for a particular experience(s): He'd been abducted.

Okay, so I cracked up at this story from the very beginning, when Tom was getting spanked with every mishap he constructed to when he caught a case of crabs! Without having S-E-X!? Whether this is for real or for fun, I was highly entertained by this book. I sat back on my chaise, with a cup of flavored water and read until I found myself sitting at my desk, closing the book. I read it in a few hours...
