Ms. Howell has written a wonderful, educational, engaging, & colorful book! The book is packed with information about our world, focusing on the water in it. Every page has beautiful photography as well as colorful accents for the script or just as a lovely addition. The book begins quite simply and I believe will entertain even preschool children. The teaching gradually becomes more detailed and more suitable for older children. I love the encouragement to love and care for our natural world. Throughout the book are fun "Amazing Facts" and the reader is taught about the importance of water in our world, the water cycle, the tides, the different states of water and much more. There are review questions after every few pages and some activities at the end of the book. This is a beautiful educational book that will delight young (and old!) readers for many years.

This is a great book , engaging children in learning about water. All types of water facts are included in the book, and I even learned a fact or two as well as my children. We loved the bright and colorful true life pictures, facts, fun quizzes and activities and experiments.
