Anita is starting her life over after she catches her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend and best friend or ex-best friend in bed together. Now she's in a new town, new job, and meeting new people. Now she's she about to show off her talent at party planning. But that goes kind of belly up when a security concern pops up. Now she 's trying to figure out how to have a big bang to the even now. Will she be able to produce one?

James is the head of security that has nixed the idea of the fireworks because of the threat. When he tries to explain the reason to Anita she blows him off. But at the party when he ends up at the same table as her, he's able to explain why the show was canceled. But when the threat turns to a reality and she's the one that is open barrel end. James is supposedly nowhere to be found or so she thinks. But I tiger comes to her rescue and is injured will insuring her safety. But will Anita be able to handle the truth of James dual nature?

This is my first time reading anything by this author and I liked. I can't wait to see what the next book brings. I recommend this book to others.… (més)
